FINISH OPTIONS:
Raw Steel - Bare uncoated metal. Raw steel can and will rust, especially if used outdoors. It is also a great option if you would like to paint the sign yourself.
Powder Coating is an very durable baked on finish for metal. It is guaranteed to not rust and will last a lifetime of indoor or outdoor use.
Matte Black- Durable Outdoor Powder Coat finish. This is a smooth, low gloss black.
Copper Vein- Powder Coated finish that last outdoors for years. Copper Vein is black with veins of copper throughout. It has a hammered texture.
Silver Vein- Durable Outdoor Powder Coat finish. Silver Vein is black with veins of silver throughout. It has a hammered texture.
Smooth Silver- Durable Outdoor Powder Coat finish. Smooth Silver is a bright silver with a metallic sparkle. Smooth finish.
Oil Rubbed Bronze Fine Texture - Durable Outdoor Powder Coat finish. This is a dark color with a bit of metallic sparkle in the sunlight. It has a fine texture.
Gloss Clear- Durable Outdoor Powder Coat finish. This is the option for you if you like the raw steel look, but don't want it to rust. Gloss clear finish applied over the raw steel. It will darken the steel a few shades.
How do the address columns mount?
Our address columns include ground stakes that attach to the base using the included hardware. For easier installation, we recommend loosening the soil with a shovel or pickaxe before pressing the column and attached stakes into the ground.
Can the address column be done with a street name or other text?
Yes! Just enter the text/numbers that you would like at checkout. You can also leave us a note if you would like to see a design proof for approval before we begin fabrication.
What are the white number inserts?
White translucent plexiglass inserts that we install behind the laser cutout numbers. This enhances visibility.
We us an outdoor grade, fade resistant translucent white acrylic.
The white acrylic backing is held in with a welded frame on the inside of the column and is removeable for easy cleaning.
Can you do my logo/custom design?
Yes, we can do most logos. Please email us at Sales@TopNotchIronworks.com with your logo and what size you would like it to be. We can use AI, PNG, JPEG, SVG and EPS files. If sending a PNG or JPEG please send the highest resolution you have.

Raw steel is bare uncoated metal. It can rust. We use hot rolled mild steel for all our signs. Each piece of raw steel is different. There may be imperfections, marks and sometimes scratches.
Powder coating is a durable baked on finish that does great outdoors. Our powder coat colors include Matte Black, Oil Rubbed Bronze, Copper Vein, Smooth Silver, Silver Vein and Gloss clear.
How Long will it take to receive my order?
We are currently able to ship orders out within about 2 weeks. Please see the details for each item for a more exact date.
What shipping service do you use?
We ship through FedEx and UPS. Deliveries usually take 2-6 days once the order ships out.
Can you ship to a P.O. Box?
No, please do not enter a PO box for deliveries. Most our items are too large to ship to a P.O. Box. To ensure your order is delivered correctly, we need a physical address.
Shipping damage/ returns
We pack our products with care to prevent shipping damage. If your item happens to be damaged during shipping. Please email us photos of the damage to Sales@TopNotchIronworks.com and we will send you a new sign.
If your personalized item was misspelled by us, please email us at Sales@TopNotchIronworks.com and we will send you a corrected item.
