Top Notch Ironworks began with a spark—literally. Founder Joseph Breinholt discovered his passion for metalworking after watching his neighbor repair a broken weld on his go-kart axle. Inspired, he picked up a welding torch and never looked back. What started as a hobby quickly evolved into a full-fledged metal business. In 2019, working out of his parents’ garage, Joseph built his first CNC metal cutting machine by hand—a pivotal moment that set the foundation for what Top Notch Ironworks would become. Since then, Top Notch Ironworks has grown into one of the go-to names in metal home décor, creating unique, high-quality pieces with a whole lot of passion and grit.
